The Journey Begins

 Wine and Travel.   Who does not enjoy these two treats?   Fortunately I have been able to enjoy both of these over the course of the last 15 years with both family and friends.   I love planning wine trips and many of my friends have suggested I do that as a business.   Well, if I did it as a business it would no longer be that big of a treat.   So, instead, I have decided to embark on a journey of memorializing our trips via my own blog page.   I am not a wine professional and have never worked in the travel industry.   I am also not a professional writer, so right off the bat I have 3 strikes against me.   However, I do think through my travel and wine blogs I can unlock for readers vistas they have never seen and wines they have never tasted.

Prior to launching this endeavor I worked in the energy industry for most of my career.   I retired in 2008  and began studying for what I am attempting now via this blog.   I have reached WSET Level II in my studies but plan to continue the learning process.  Please enjoy and let me know what you think.   Cheers!
